Getting started is easy, and doesn’t cost a fortune.
It starts with a phone call, where I will gather some basic information about the history of your property, and some of the symptoms you may be encountering. By simply focusing on the things we can change and not on the things we can’t change, we will get results very quickly. My fee is $150 per hour for consultations either by phone or on-farm.
The next step will be a soil test. The fee for this service is $600 which includes a chosen series of soil and carbon testing and the interpretation and explanation of your information. From this, I work out your major imbalances, recommending the correct soil amendments to suit, and also identify the minerals that may be lacking in your livestock.
Combining this information with the symptoms that may be showing up on your land, soils, pastures and stock, we can gain a much better picture of what is happening, or it may be what is NOT happening!
Once we have established the chemistry, visual symptoms and budget, we can work out which tools to use and a plan of attack to start setting the conditions for the good stuff to grow.
