The Saddlery

The Overseer Saddlery was established in 1990 by Master Saddler Jason Simmons. The saddlery is based in Armidale, the heart of the beautiful New England region in New South Wales, Australia. Pictured is The Overseer Saddlery and saddle factory, where all saddles and saddlery products are custom-made to your requirements. Custom-made products are our business, we are saddle and saddlery manufacturers, where all our products are made on-site from raw materials.

The Overseer products are handcrafted from the best leather available in Australia and overseas. Each piece is selected by Jason for each specific order. Quality control is paramount at The Overseer Saddlery.

The Overseer saddles cater for the Australian market in many horse sports as well as station work and pleasure riding. They have proven to meet the needs of all riders in all terrains across the world.

All Overseer saddles are made on a wood and steel tree. This allows the saddles to be fully custom-made for each rider's requirements. Depending on the rider's size and weight, the cut of the seat, the flap length, the size and setting of the knee pad and cantle can all be altered. These are the choices to be made by the client. Each saddle is hand-sewn, giving you a superior quality product.
